A message from our Founder:
Dimpleskins Naturals products were started from my Burnaby, BC kitchen in 2001. After the birth of my first baby, I really started paying attention to product labels and chemical-free everything became my top concern. At the time, completely natural products were not readily available in the marketplace so I did what alot of moms do when something isn't good enough - I MADE THE PRODUCTS MYSELF, UP TO MY STANDARDS :)
With my background in Make-Up Artistry, Aromatherapy and Holistic Nutrition (find my healthy recipes on the Mama Bare Wellness blog), I formulated my own balms and salves for our use at home. Over time, word spread about Dimpleskins Naturals' products and they were starting to stream into local stores. Moms everywhere were starting to make my balms their go-to baby product, magazines were featuring us, our signature Bum Bum Balm won the PTPA award, plus I was honoured to be named one of Canada's top 10 Mompreneurs.
Today, 23 years later, my original formulas have not changed. Our company continues to use natural, chemical-free and organic ingredients. We also signed the pledge with PETA, promising that our raw ingredients and finished products are cruelty-free and not tested on animals. Dimpleskins Naturals products are still manufactured in British Columbia and distributed across Canada in boutiques, gift shops, wellness and grocery stores, pharmacies, and through midwifery and Naturopathic Doctor's offices.
Those first Dimpleskins babies that used our products have all grown up now, but we still are a trusted name in the industry and strive to be for many years to come.
